Nadine S. Pence is one of three alumni to join the Manchester University Board of Trustees. Pence is executive director of the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion, a center funded by Lilly Endowment Inc., located at Wabash College.

The 1976 Manchester graduate lives in Crawfordsville. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Bethany Theological Seminary and a doctorate from the University of Chicago in constructive theology.

Her volunteer experiences include two years with Brethren Volunteer Service. She is a recipient of the Alumni Honor Award, the highest recognition the Alumni Association can bestow on a Manchester graduate.

Others joining the board are Audrey Hahn of Wabash and Brian Harshberger of South Bend. Trustees serve five-year terms
